Dalton's Field Trip to Zion National Park

I am glad I got to go on this trip with Dalton.  We had a fun day!

Pinewood Derby

The boys participated in the Pinewood Derby last month I think.  I know it's been a few weeks at least, but I seem to run time together this time of year. 
It was Dalton's first time competing and Ethan's 3rd. Ethan's car won a Golden Ticket to take his car to the Scout Expo for the 2nd year in a row, for Best in Show or Most Unique or something. Anyway, he does take great detail in his art projects.

Micaela's Basketball Team

Micaela played on the Silver 7th grade boarder league team for her Intermediate school.  She is sure to be on the Gold team next year when she will actually be in 7th grade.  She did really well and she was really fun to watch.  Dustin ended up helping coach the team and might be resigned to coach next year too. He loves basketball and knows the game well.  They could be a great team.

We went on a little hike to our friends' house this past Monday.  These are some pictures we took on the way back home.

Spring Break Staycation

We didn't go on vacation for Spring Break this year. Dustin and I worked and the kids were bored out of their minds all week.  So, I decided to take Friday off and take the kids up to Springdale for the day.  On our way we went to Grafton and the Cemetary there, then we went to this park in Springdale, then had lunch at a yummy cafe, then to the Giant Screen I-Max theater, then the kids wanted to go back to this little park and play some more.  We all had a great day! 

So far...

So far Ethan and Dalton's teams both won their first soccer games of the season and both also scored a goal. Micaela's basketball team lost their first 2 games, but she scored 80% of the team's points. Her soccer team also lost their first game, but again Micaela scored the only goal. Tabitha's soccer team tied their first game, and I don't have a schedule to post for her as of yet. Keep posted for pictures and updates of these amazing athletes!
