Dalton's Baptism Invite

Basketball Saturday ~ 1/30/2010

Micaela warming up for her game.
Posing for her mom after a great game!
Ethan warming up.
Posing for mom after a tough loss.

Another thing to boast about. Seriously. I have such talented children. Artsy fartsy, athletic, smart. What more could a mother ask for? Obedience. We're working on that one. haha.  Micaela is arguably THE best basketball player her age playing city league right now. Ethan has gotten so much better in one year. He went from just running up and down the court, to being one of the best his age. Love to see them develop and grow!

Hurricane Idol ~ 1/28/2010

Tabitha with some friends before Hurricane Idol.

Tabitha singing 'This is Me'.
Tabitha with her Hurricane Idol participation.

Tabitha sang for the Hurricane High Grad Night fundraiser at Hurricane Idol 2010. She was fabulous! She did not make it to the second round, but was amazing none the less. I was so proud, I teared up.  Next year, we might get a couple of brothers to sing too. Maybe even another sister? Yay!

Dalton's First Pack Meeting

Ethan is a Webelo now. He helped Dalton get his uniform together.

The boys made paper airplanes.

Dalton earned his Bobcat, so now he will be working on his Wolf.

Ethan earned his Handyman and his Readyman pins.
We learned all about things that fly and the boys even got kites to take home.

Blogging...

I think this blogging thing is going to be easier than I thought. I will try to post at least once a week. We are pretty busy, so there should be plenty to keep up on.

Tabitha turned 14

That's right. Tabitha is 14. She is becoming a beautiful young lady. We had a family dinner with some special guests. She chose confetti cupcakes and frosting and cookies and cream ice cream and sherbert. For dinner we had barbeque ribs, dutch oven potatoes, peas and rolls. Yummm.
*It was pretty funny when Aunt Jane stuffed a cupcake up Tabitha's nose.

My baby is 8!

So, I wanted to back track a little and post a pic of Dalton's 8th Birthday. He didn't have a party, just a family dinner. He wanted a chocolate cake from Costco, and for dinner: Corn on the cob, broccoli, and mashed potatoes. He didn't feel that we needed meat, but I made a roast anyway. The most important part of turning 8 is getting baptized, so that event will be coming soon!

New Year

OK. So, I am ready to blog... I think.

I am going to have to redesign, and that is going to take some trial and error. Maybe I can have it ready by Feb 1. (with some help)
